Celebrating Generosity: Thuringan International School’s Shoe Collection Drive in Weimar

We are delighted to share the heartwarming success of a shoe collection drive organized by Münir and Maksym, two fith grade pupils from the “Thuringan International School” in Weimar. At the end of June 2022, these remarkable individuals collected four boxes filled with approximately 100 pairs of shoes to donate to us.

We are truly grateful for the dedication and empathy demonstrated by the students of “Thuringan International School”. Their initiative showcases the power of collective action and the positive impact young individuals can make within their communities.

“The students’ commitment to helping those in need is truly inspiring. By organizing this shoe collection drive, they have not only contributed to providing footwear to individuals who may not have had access to it but have also set an exemplary example for others to follow.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the students, teachers, and staff of “Thuringan International School” for their invaluable support. Their generosity will go a long way in improving the lives of individuals who will receive these donated shoes.” Gerald Bobga (founder of Shoe Aid Project)

We encourage everyone to join us in celebrating this remarkable act of kindness. Let us take inspiration from the students of “Thuringan International School” and strive to make a positive difference in the lives of those who need it most. Together, we can create a more inclusive and compassionate society.

Let us spread the word and continue to support our mission of providing footwear to those in need. If you would like to contribute or get involved, please reach out to us. Together, we can make a lasting impact.

Thank you once again to Münir and Maksym and the Thuringan International School community in Weimar for their remarkable dedication and generosity. Your efforts truly make a difference!
